Here she takes us through a day-in-the-life-of, and shares her beauty musts.

What’s a regular day like for you?

I’m the manager of boutique Unicorn in Montreal, and I’m also a fashion and beauty blogger. I’m at the boutique five days a week, then I try to squeeze in some events and of course write articles for the sites.

Best part about the job?

Meeting tons of very interesting people, discovering new beauty products, designers, boutiques and being able to go to fashion shows in Montreal.

Why the obsession with beauty?

As I got older, I became more adventurous with makeup and enjoy putting it on a lot more. Now, I love doing my makeup in the morning. It’s a great way to make a statement and have fun.

Beauty icon?

I love Diane Kruger for her effortless beauty looks; she always looks perfect and fresh. I also love Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly’s old Hollywood classic beauty, forever timeless.

What’s your beauty routine?

Recently, I’ve been using the LiftActiv Serum 10 from Vichy on my wrinkles and started seeing some results, mostly on my forehead. I’m also using the new BB cream from Marcelle, which hydrates and works as a foundation; it’s a fantastic product. I then apply bronzer by Lise Watier, I dab a bit of Magic Smooth Soufflé from L’Oreal Paris on my cheeks, line my eyelids with the Master Precise liner from Maybelline and finish off with the Xtension Plus mascara from Marcelle. On my lips, it changes everyday, depending on my mood and my outfit! To remove my makeup and wash my face, I use the Supreme Cleansing Foam from Sephora and the Essentials Eye Make-up Remover from Marcelle.

I’m a very simple girl when it comes to skin care. I just use a face moisturizer in the morning under my makeup. I alternate between the Life Radiance cream from Decléor and the Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel from Marcelle. If I have extra dry spots on my face, I add some Atoderm Nutritive High Nutrition Cream from Bioderma.

For my hair, when I decide to do some curls, I finish off with the Crystal Resist hairspray from Garnier Fructis Style, which holds them a long long time. I also use shampoos and conditioners that help keep hair colour longer, since I dye mine, like the ones from Pantene and Aveeno. I have thin hair and it’s super straight, so I decided to cut it shorter. Since then, I’ve had more body, because the length is not pulling my hair down. I’ve been seeing Sia at the Koükla salon on St-Laurent, because she does the best bobs, always super straight.

Since Fall, I’ve been going to Mawaii Esthetique on Masson for some IPL treatments, and I must say, the results are wonderful! For massages, my latest ones were from Spa Scandinave Les Bains in the Old Montreal, which I also love for their relaxing spas and bath.

Best beauty advice?

Less is more! If I do a very colourful eye, I keep the lips neutral and vice versa.
