Sure ponytails are as classic as bobby socks and red lips, but the looks we’ve been coveting this season are all about new shapes and textures. From Kim Kardashian‘s sleek athleticism to the low, loose, textured tails seen on the spring runways, the new pony is making waves.
Get the look: Brush hair back into a tie for a clean, sophisticated look, or pull strands loose for a wispier, more relaxed look. For a high ponytail, gather hair at the highest part of the back of your head and secure with strong-hold elastics. Hide band by looping round a lock of hair and pinning into place, or embellish with a decorative tie. You can also backcomb at the crown for volume and drama. Pair with chandelier earrings for a nighttime statement.
